Designed with a fully automatic calibration system and menu-driven software, the Bayer 840 Blood Gas Analyzer is able to effectively determine the values of pH, pCO2 and pO2. The Bayer analyzer can also calculate a wide range of parameters including standard or actual bicarbonate (HCO3), total carbon dioxide (tCO2), estimated oxygen content (O2 CT), temperature corrected respiratory index, and temperature corrected 02.
The Bayer 840 Analyzer can store up to 1500 patient sample reports with its advanced on-board data management system. Moreover, the blood gas analysis machine employs a reagent-path cleaning cycle in order to uphold instrument accuracy.
