Hiking TAAL VOLCANO Philippines

If you are heading to Tagaytay, one of the things that you definitely can’t miss is hiking Taal Volocano and enjoying the views from the top. Taal Volcano is the second most active volcano in the Philippines. Tagaytay is a very popular destination in the Philippines because of the good weather. The weather in Tagaytay is warm during the day but not so warm like in Manila. And at night the temperature goes down, but it’s refreshing without the feeling of it being too cold. So yes — perfect weather

We had so much fun with great activities, and had an amazing time in Tagaytay. If you have been thinking of which places to visit, then hang with us here.

First of all you need to ride a few transportation if you are coming from Manila to reach the starting point for hiking Taal Volcano.

BY BUS

You can get to Tagaytay by bus from Manila. The bus is around $3 for a two-hour journey. There are a few bus stations where you can get the bus: Buendia and Cubao. The two hours bus time are still relative to the traffic in Manila.
Travel Tip: If you go to Taal first thing in the morning, you will find much less traffic than traveling in peak hours.

BY JEEPNEY

The bus will stop in La Rotonda in Tagaytay. If you are heading to Taal Volcano, you will need to ride a jeepney to Olivares. And from Olivares you have to get another jeepney stopping at People’s Park. And from People’s Park, there is no more jeepney option. You will need to get a tricycle (7 kilometers ride for $4) until Talisay Bay, where you can ride a boat to the crater lake Volcano. For this trip, we went to Precious Boat Station.

BOAT

You can ride a boat  from Precious Boat Station (around 10-15 minutes) to start hiking Taal Volcano. You have two choices try to hire a boat there or you can book in advance. Prices for the boat are starting PHP 1500-2000.

ME BEFORE YOU 2016 FULL MOVIE

Me Before You is a romantic novel written by Jojo Moyes. The book was first published on 5 January 2012 in the United Kingdom. A sequel entitled After You was released 29 September 2015 through Pamela Dorman Books.

Twenty-six-year-old Louisa Clark lives with her working-class family. Unambitious and with few qualifications, she feels constantly outshone by her younger sister, Treena, an outgoing single mother. Louisa, who helps support her family, loses her job at a local cafe. She goes to the Job Centre and, after several failed attempts, is offered a unique employment opportunity: help care for Will Traynor, a successful, wealthy, and once-active young man who was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident two years earlier. Will's mother, Camilla, hires Louisa despite her lack of experience, believing Louisa can brighten Will's spirits. Louisa meets Nathan, who cares for Will's medical needs, and Will's father, Steven, a friendly upper-class businessman whose marriage to Camilla is strained.
Louisa and Will's relationship starts out rocky due to his bitterness and resentment over being disabled. Things worsen after Will's ex-girlfriend, Alicia, and best friend Rupert reveal that they are getting married. Under Louisa's care, Will gradually becomes more communicative and open-minded as they share experiences together. Louisa notices Will's scarred wrists and later overhears his mother and sister discussing how he attempted suicide shortly after Camilla refused his request to end his life through Dignitas, a Swiss-based assisted suicide organization. Horrified by his attempt, Camilla promised to honour her son's wish, but only if he agreed to live six more months. Camilla intends to prove that, in time, he will believe his life's worth living.
Louisa conceals knowing about Will and Camilla's agreement. However, she tells Treena, and together they devise ways that will help convince Will to abandon his death wish. Over the next few weeks, Will loosens up and lets Louisa shave his beard and cut his shaggy hair. Louisa begins taking Will on outings and the two grow closer.
Through their frequent talks, Louisa learns that Will has travelled extensively; his favourite place is a cafe in Paris. Noticing how limited her life is and that she has few ambitions, Will tries to motivate Louisa to change. Louisa finally reveals that she was gang-raped as a teen, resulting in her reclusive nature and wariness of the world beyond her hometown.
Louisa continues seeing her longtime boyfriend, Patrick, though they eventually break up due to her relationship with Will. Meanwhile, Louisa's father loses his job, causing more financial difficulties. Fortunately, Mr. Traynor offers Mr. Clark a position. Louisa realises that Will is trying to help her secure her freedom from her family. The two attend Alicia and Rupert's wedding where they dance and flirt. Will tells Louisa that she is the only reason he gets up in the morning.
Louisa convinces Will to go on a holiday with her, but before they can leave, Will contracts near fatal pneumonia. Louisa cancels the plans for a whirlwind trip. Instead, she takes Will to the island of Mauritius. The night before returning home, Louisa tells Will that she loves him. Will says he wants to confide something, but she admits that she already knows about his plans with Dignitas. Will says their time together has been special, but he cannot bear to live in a wheelchair. He will be following through with his plans. Angry and hurt, Louisa storms off and does not speak to him for the remainder of the trip. When they return home, Will's parents are pleasantly surprised by his good physical condition. Louisa, however, resigns as his caretaker, and they understand that Will intends to end his life.
On the night of Will's flight to Switzerland, Louisa visits him one last time. They agree that the past six months have been the best in their lives. He dies shortly after in the clinic, and it is revealed that he left Louisa a considerable inheritance, meant to continue her education and to fully experience life. The novel ends with Louisa at a cafe in Paris, reading Will's last words to her in a letter, that tell her to 'live well'.

Pia Wurtzbach’s royal blue gown

While the entire Philippines was sleeping, pictures of Miss Universe-Philippines Pia Wurztbach wearing Filipino designer Albert Andrada’s royal blue gown had already exploded on cyberspace. It was the red carpet event in Las Vegas prior to the Miss Universe telecast.

It was Wurztbach’s first time to wear the figure-hugging, strapless serpentina gown in public.Based on initial public reaction, the long wait was worth it.
What is the gown made of and what was Andrada’s inspiration behind it? What went into its creation? The designer, who’s now in Las Vegas with the rest of Team Philippines, shares with us his thoughts in this exclusive online interview.

Will Miss Universe Philippines 2013 - Ariella Arida Follow the steps of Miss Word 2013 - Megan Young?

Embedded image permalink
Ariella on the ramp

When Miss Philippines Ariella Arida arrived in Moscow, one of her most important objectives is to befriend as many delegates as possible regardless of the language barrier for most. For example, she doesn’t speak Spanish, but that did not stop her from hanging out with the Latinas. The picture above (taken during the Welcome Dinner) shows her becoming more at ease in the company of Cindy Mejia, Patricia Rodriguez, Fabiana Granados (who was here in Manila for ME2012) and Alba Delgado.

We all remember Miss Lebanon Karen Ghrawi as the Miss World 2013 delegate who almost didn’t make it to the first events in Bali owing to a very late crowning as her country’s national winner. While she may have created a bit of ripples at the onset, there’s no denying that she never really got off to a steady rise in the competition won by our very own Megan Young.

This time around, she is in Moscow for Miss Universe 2013. And she wasn’t late for registration and fittings. But will history repeat itself for this pretty Lebanese should another Filipina – in the person of Ariella Arida – win the Diamond Nexus Lab crown? That would be some sort of a personal blow twice in a row.

Both Miss Philippines Ariella Arida and Miss India Manasi Moghe are looking at winning their respective country’s 3rd Miss Universe crown. And it doesn’t seem like an impossibility for either.

For one, Manasi is a far better contender than the last. And she is not letting up in her efforts to make India proud of her achievements. As for Ariella, our girl is steadily climbing the popularity charts and is now a staple inclusion in many armchair judges’ list of beauties to watch for.

Together with the other candidates, Ariella and Manasi were able to tour Moscow’s Red Square and Bolshoi Theater, their first official visit around the Russian capital’s famous sights.

GOOD LUCK TO EACH COUNTRY WHO COMPETING FOR THE CROWN..

Engine Analyzer

Engine Analyzer Pro with Pictures

Engine analyzer pro is an engine designer for professionals and engineers to simulate engine dynamometers. I have been playing with this sim for about a week now and have had surprisingly accurate results. Now i must warn people that are interested in such software that EAP is very tedious and you need to know a LOT about your engine to get some accurate results. Also its an expensive piece of software. One main reason i'm using this software was to estimate the brake specific fuel consumption or BSFC for my cars (there are a lot of information that this software can provide, BSFC is only one of many). With EAP You basically edit information such as your short block, heads, intake, exhausts, cams/valves and turbo/supercharger. Then you can get your end performance results after the software analyzes this information. this is just a page from the cam/valve spec section that i filled out:

once you enter the information required as accurately as possible then you can calculate the peformance.

EAP analyzing the engine (dyno):

and here is what i got for results on brake specific fuel consumption, brake torque, fuel flow and volumetric efficiency:

BSFC alone:

so according to this simulation my brake specific fuel consumption (SOHC 2.5L impreza) is lowest at 2200-2400 rpm during wide open throttle. I know it's all a simulation but its pretty interesting still. Also there are a lot more information that EAP provides such as knock index, brake horse power, cylinder pressure, exhaust pressure and so on...
